The scientific manager of the Sea Turtle Recovery Center of Manfredonia, Giovanni Furii, spoke about our project and the activities of Legambiente dedicated to the recovery of sea turtles. “Since the Center has been active, around 1,900 specimens have been saved. Of all the turtles rescued, treated and released, 95% came from trawling and almost all had ingested #plastic”.
