Strengthen knowledge on mussel farming and aquaculture and the potential of these sectors in environmental terms - as sources of low impact food production - and economic terms and at the same time increase the awareness of professionals on the main environmental impacts of these activities, first and foremost , that due to the accidental or voluntary abandonment of equipment used for fishing and mussel farming. These are the objectives of the 12 seminars planned by the Life Muscles project and dedicated toFisheries, aquaculture companies, trade associations and the mariculture sector.

To make these sectors even more sustainable and promote the creation of a circular production chain, the project financed by the European Commission aims to disseminate and share new innovative solutions with sector stakeholders.
