At the workshop "Marine-friendly biopolymers: characteristics and challenges", organized by Glaukos project And Bio-Plastics Europe, with the support of European Bioplastics Research Network (EBRN) and of  European Bioeconomy Network (EuBioNet).

The event was held online on 23 June from 9.00 to 12.00 and for Life MUSCLES were connected Selene Chinaglia of Novamont, Elisa Scocchera and Marzia Mattioli of Legambiente.

The project will develop fishing gear and eco-designed clothing and scale up the production process, from renewable raw material to textile prototype, ending with two end-of-life solutions: biodegradation and biorecycling.
