Here's the lineup seminar aimed at mussel farmers which will be held on February 14th from 2.00pm to 3.30pm at the Arena:

• Introduction and notes on the LIFE MUSCLES project – Marzia Mattioli, Legambiente;
• Regulatory notes and European strategies for sustainable fishing and aquaculture – Eraldo Rambaldi, AMA Mediterranean Aquaculture Association;
• Circular innovation in the mussel farming sector, the two LIFE MUSCLES solutions:
  – Mobile recycling plant with progress status of activities. Production process, operation, costs and consumption, benefits and economic savings; – Daniel Heat, Rom Plastica and Loris Pietrelli, Legambiente;
  – Biopolymer socks with progress status of activities. Identification of formulations, production process, first small-scale test results; Selene Chinaglia, Novamont e  Paolo Varrella, CMA Cooperativa Mitilicoltori Associati of La Spezia ;
•  General progress of other activities (monitoring, awareness-raising, territorial animation) – Marzia Mattioli, Legambiente and partners present;
