Legambiente with LIFE Muscles at the Marine Litter Watch in Copenhagen
.
.
Marine Litter Watch (MLW) is an initiative, established in 2013, that aims to address the problem of beach waste. Over time, many communities have come together to collect data and contribute to the creation of a homogeneous database, to understand the sources of waste and propose regulations, at European level, to reduce its dispersion and impact. The data collected with the LIFE Muscles project are also part of this great project, and the actions we propose were presented on March 26th at Copenhagen to other MLW members.
.
Elisa Scocchera, scientific referent who spoke for Legambiente: “The day was an opportunity to exchange ideas and proposals with other projects, bodies and associations that work to reduce the impact of marine waste”.
