To communicate and reflect on reducing plastic pollution in the sea.
Life MUSCLES returns to schools with a Edukit and a free contest. They can answer the call teachers who want to learn more and make their classes – middle and high school – aware of the impacts of mussel farming on the marine ecosystem and the Circular economy solutions proposed by the European project Life MUSCLES. An opportunity to delve into topics of great current importance, such as biodiversity, marine plastic pollution, circular economy, and to stimulate citizen science actions.
For this new school year the lower secondary schools can participate in the competition making posters or flyers. To secondary schools, instead, the production of video spots or podcasts is proposed on mussel farming theme declined in the various aspects that characterize it: economic sector; impact of plastics and microplastics on the marine ecosystem and on mussels; circular economy to safeguard the sea; traditions and stories from the territory.

The competition is dedicated only to schools of Puglia And Liguria (target regions of the project), which can submit the works no later than April 30, 2025.
